The St. John Ambulance Malaysia, South Area of Perak will be organizing a charitable sales ( Pesta Makanan) to raise funds ( another RM 60,000.00 to go) in getting new equipments for their ambulances as followed:
For your information, the St. Johnners had been serving throughout our country for the past 100 years ( and we celebrated our 100th year of founding last year too), from the basic first aid services in various activities in schools and to the public ( e.g. marathon run, concerts, festive celebrations...etc), to the emergency ambulance services and non emergency ambulance services! Don't forget, everything is about money nowadays, so running a voluntary service, they are also struggling along in managing and getting financial sources.
So this is what you can do to help them. I'm not asking you to donate anything, but if you happen to be in Teluk Intan on that day, just drop by and have your meal there! Why spend a hundred bucks or more to dine in fancy restaurants whereas you can contribute to the society and help the needies out there by eating and enjoying yourself throughout the feast! Or, if you are interested but locating too far away from Teluk Intan, you can also sponsor them food to be sold on that particular day, or of course, if you wanna contribute in forms of money, you are welcome to do so.

- RM 1000.00 or above, and supported a stall, you'll get 10 sets of coupons.
- RM500.00 or above, and supported a stall, you'll get 5 sets of coupons.
- RM 300.00 or above, and supported a stall, you'll get 3 sets of coupons.
- RM 200.00 or above, you'll get 2 sets of coupons.
- RM 100.00 or aboce, you'll get 1 set of coupons.
Owh yea, before I forget, those who contributed RM 100.00 can be tax exempted. ( WartaKerajaan L.N. 334 - 22hb. Jun, 1955) and receipt. AND ALSO... For 500 bucks ( RM 500.00 only) you can have your name carved on a billboard which will be hang in the hall of the SJAM of South Perak's building, and everyone will know who you are ( even until your grandchildren's generation)!
